Responsibilities:

• As a member of the Maintenance Team, the Mechanic will work to maintain equipment and machines within all departments
• Knowledge in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical Systems
• Computer literate and understanding of PLC theory
• Ability to operate shop equipment, Drill Press, Band Saw, Bench Grinder,
• Perform routine maintenance on all equipment
• Assist with all reactive/repair maintenance
• Ability to read Blue prints, Drawings, and Schematics
• Assist with all new equipment installations
• Provide assistance to all co-workers as necessary
• Perform various duties, related but not stated, to the maintenance operation as deemed necessary by manager
• Must be team-oriented and have your own tools
• Previous experience on Roll formers is a PLUS
• Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively
• Plan, lead and execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to PM schedule to minimize equipment downtime
• Operate a forklift as needed to complete duties
• Willingness to work holidays and weekends as needed
• Repair and Maintenance of all plant equipment and property

Qualifications:

• At least 3 yrs. experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Apprentice
• Technical schooling strongly preferred
• Attention to detail, flexibility, minimal supervision - self-motivated, job knowledge, productivity conscious
